I let her pick it out from among several possibilities but was concerned that the stone would look out of proportion to the rest of the ring. The stone is actually much smaller than the picture would make it appear. The color is beautiful as well. If you are thinking of this because you want a quite large stone, this isn't the ring for you. But it is a lovely ring and much nicer than anticipated.
