(However, I measured - and it is 6 mm in diameter - so they are not cheating)
Golden ring seems thinner than on the picture... but if you put the ring really
really close to your face - so it will be as big as on the picture - that's what you will see.
The only problem - nobody wears ring so close to their nose.
I guess, it's the matter of expectations - ring is great on the picture, and "kind of ok" in real life.
Design of the ring from the side - may or may not be attractive for some.
