I have heard of Star Sapphires and Rubies, but never seen one before. You have this mysterious star dancing on the top of your ruby as light hits the stone. You can play with it all day, watching this star made out of light magically move around. It's just amazing. It is very unusual and fun, yet a fine piece of jewelry. The 14k setting is solid, well made and very substantial, and the diamond are of fine quality, clean, brilliant and white.
