It is feminine, delicate and yet sturdy enough for every day wear. It is not "trinket looking" or too obtrusive but rather a well crafted piece of jewelry. There is just something symbolic about compasses, perhaps it is the idea of centering yourself and of finding your way through the world. I've truly enjoyed this necklace and would highly recommend it.
