I have had to fix this ring 4 times in 4 months because of the tanzanite coming loose. Just recently a prong broke off. I have now spent over $100 having to fix this. I just brought it to a local family jeweler in town, where they say it could take up to 2 weeks to get my ring back. Totaling the other 3 times I've brought my ring to a jeweler, I've been without my ring for over 3 weeks.
Not too long ago, I e-mailed MySolitaire through here, asking if there was a warranty on the ring. They replied back saying I'd need to send my ring in for them to take a look at it. They never answered my question. All I wanted to know is if there is a warranty on the ring, not if I could send it in for it to be looked at (and be without my ring for an even longer amount of time? No thank you!).
I was told it would be too costly to change the setting of the ring (per the local jeweler), and would need to be repaired using laser techniques.
In short, beautiful ring, would hate to change anything about it, but the center stone comes loose too many times, and I have not received a specific reply about any warranty existing on the ring.
