When I recieved it in the mail, it looked just like the picture, and it is a very solid, pretty ring in person also. The only issue I had with it was that the black onyx stone started scuffing after a few days. I don't do any hard work that would cause the scuffing, so I'm not sure what I rubbed it against, but I am a busy mom of 3, so it's understandable, I guess. The scuffs are hard to see and don't take away from the beauty of the piece, so I still wear it all the time. Great ring for the price...
