If it had been shipped to my recipient directly, I would have been unhappy that it arrived looking that way. The charm is fairly small, but accurate to the description, and the chain is thin and delicate, so that's something to consider if the wearer is hard on their jewelry. But the pendant bail is large enough that you can easily slip it off and onto a different chain if you wish. Overall, once it was shined up, it looks very nice.
