The side if the ring is lovely- not too high.
The band itself is the problem- it looks thick but it is hollow and feels cheaply made. After 7 months of light wear, the band broke in half. I contacted the seller and they ignored my message, making me suspicious as to their integrity as a jewelry seller.
I went to Kays Jewelers, and they said it was unacceptable for the ring to break in half- that this only happens if the ring has been resized (which it has not).
I requested the seller to resolve the problem- and expected a replacement, but have not heard back. I will probably pay to have a jeweler fix it. Also- the price on this ring has gone up considerably from when i first looked at it- x4 times. Not worth $384. Not sure how the seller can justify that. Especially when they don't provide a quality product or back it up!
I will play it safe next time and buy from a mall jeweler!
