Most rings that have a big center stone usually have thicker bands, which I dont like. I ordered this one because it has a smaller band. I really like the rope-like band, creating a very delicate look. The size of the garnet stone is big but not overwhelming for delicate small hands. I have small hands & big bands dont really look that good on me. I absolutely love love this ring. It is by far the prettiest garnet ring I've seen so far.
Pro: Small rope-like band. Nice size sparkling deep-red garnet center stone, with 4 itty-bitty sparkling diamond accent. Limited lifetime warrant.
Con: I do have 1 major issue about this ring (hence the 4 stars). The setting is a little too high for my taste. This is solely a personal preference. I've always preferred the lower setting rings. If the setting was a lot lower, I would definitely give this ring a 5++ stars.
I have posted some pix of this ring from the side view so that you can see what I am talking about.
When I look down on my hand I love the way it looks & sparkles. But when I'm looking at the ring from the side view, the high setting really bothers me. So sadly, I am returning this ring because of the high setting.
If you dont mind whether the setting is high or low, than by all means. I highly recommend getting this ring if you are a January baby or know of someone who is. You will not be disappointed.
